La’Ron Williams 2004 St Marys Storytelling Festival

St. Marys Storytelling,Inc. is a new nonprofit organization. Inspired by storytelling festivals in such diverse places as Whitehorse YK, Toronto, and Spring Grove, Illinois, plans for our festival grew out of the enthusiasm of a local group of volunteer storytellers, St. Marys Spellbinders. Some of us are in our third year of volunteer telling in the schools. The program has been well received by the students, staff, and volunteers. We are affiliated with the Friendship Centre and plan to work closely with the St. Marys Library in its centennial year.
